News & Details of Upcoming Club Events: 2008 Season 22nd April 2008 First social event of the season - 'Signing-on Evening' and Quiz Night - Friday 25th April at Finchley CC The evening will start at 7.30pm with the Quiz starting at about 9pm Quiz teams can be made up of up to 4 people but at least one member must be a playing member of the club - the night is open to anyone be they members, parent, supporters, friends etc and the quiz questions will be suitable for all ages so no excuse for not getting involved!! The cost to enter the quiz will be £2 per person 22.05.07 New for 2007..... MEET THE TEAM- 1st up Danni Warren (medium slow bowler & wannabe batter) 22.05.07 Introducing our very own club "psychologist" or "psychopath"....Dr Gunns! As both teams are on the up we have decided that it is time for us to embrace the idea of mental fitness, (well we dont have physical fitness!!) . Dr Gunns will be answering a number of queries throughout the course of the season, and of course your anonymity will be protected!! If you have any problems (no matter how big or small) send them to his PA Sarah Bartlett who will be only to pleased to pass them onto the great Dr! 05.05.07 Tickets for this summers Women's International matches
between England and New Zealand are now on sale, Twenty20 matches are
being played in Bath and Taunton whilst 50 over ODI's will be played in
Taunton, Derby, Blackpool and Shenly. This year the ECB are running a
scheme that offers any club who order 10 tickets for one game the chance
to claim another 5 FREE tickets for the same game, clubs can also win
one of a number of prizes. As this is the case if anyone is interested
in going to any particular match please let Danni know so that tickets
can all be booked at the same time. More details of all matches and dates

05.05.07 Invitation to all Gunns players from Dukesmead (CS) WCC
to join them in celebrating their 80th Anniversary at
their annual 6-a-side tournament on Saturday 9th June 2007. Full invitation
can be found here. If
you are interested please let Beth know so that we can enter a team, even
if you can't make the whole day it is a great event so try and get down
there for some of it!
16.04.07 Change of day for club training for the 2007 season -
main club training will now be held on Tuesdays at Argyle Road, see training
page for details.
16.04.07 Gunnersbury WCC Spring AGM 2007 will
be held on Tuesday 24th April at Argyle Road
starting at 7.30pm. This gives all members the chance to voice their views
as well as find out about plans for the upcoming season plus vote on any
issues. 16.08.06 Put Saturday 30th September in your diary as it is planned that an end of season presentation will be held then. It will give us a chance to celebrate at least one promotion campaign and to have one last social as well as recognise the star performers for both the 1st and 2nd Teams.
